katherine mansfield sounds fascinating. i know her name but i can't ever place her in the right time period or location (i always think she's american) and i don't think i've ever read any of her work. and honestly it sounds like a good biography of her would be just as good. (if longer.). thank you for the rec, tho. i mean, i'm intrigued.
