This one is slightly late because...
Right now I'm a Master's student, so a lot of my personality is made up with academia, and there's very little time for anything else. My degree is in English studies, and my main focus is the works of Katherine Mansfield (and Modernism and heteronormativity in general, so I'm also a bit of a DH Lawrence, EM Forster and Henry James nerd, But Mansfield is my biggest love). If you're also interested in any of these, please chat! I love to recommend Mansfield short stories. This week I have three deadlines, and right now I'm finishing up my final essay, so real life has come to a complete standstill while I drown in notes.
When I'm not snowed under with academic work, I do a lot of crafty things. I love to cross stitch, and I recently got into weaving. I have a pin loom and I'm slowly but surely making enough squares to put together a blanket, which has been my dream for YEARS. I also developed a bit of an addiction to making those little paper stars, but I have no idea what I'll do with them.
I've always been a bit of a collector, and I'm itching to bring my old Sylvanian Families collection out of storage. If you collect them, please do show me your favourites, I've started following a few tumblrs dedicated to Sylvanians/Calico Critters and they're making me yearn for my old friends.
I turn 24 in a few days which is an age that feels far too grown up for me.
My dog, Molly, is a 5 year old cocker spaniel/poodle cross, and my favourite little creature in the whole world.
I will generally engage in any media that involves Helena Bonham Carter in some way, my favourite colour is pink, and I am always chilly
